Description

Imagine drifting into sleep, only to find that you’re suddenly trapped in a surreal nightmare. Your body is frozen, unable to move or scream for help, but you’re awake– you know it, because you can still see your cozy bedroom surrounding you. As you struggle against invisible restraints, you notice something stirring as sinister figures start to emerge from the shadows.
One of these figures could be the night hag, an ancient crone with piercing eyes and a malicious grin. She sits on your chest, suffocating you with an oppressive weight while whispering dark secrets into your ear. Every fiber of your being screams in terror, but your voice remains trapped in silence.
Or maybe it’s one of the shadow people – elusive, malevolent humanoids that lurk just beyond your vision. They move with unnatural fluidity, their presence sending shivers down your spine. You feel their gaze upon you, cold and calculating, as if they're waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
In the darkness between wakefulness and dreams, reality warps and nightmares come to life. The night hag and shadow people are but manifestations of your subconscious fears, haunting you until the paralysis breaks and you awaken, drenched in sweat and relief. Or maybe, they’re something more sinister. Isn’t there something eerie about the fact that these beings have been recorded throughout history and across cultures? What could they possibly want from us mere mortals? Perhaps we’ll find out on today’s episode of Idiopathic…
