Description

In part 1 of today’s show, we visited Houska Castle in the Czech countryside. This imposing structure, rumored to have been built in the 1200’s is no ordinary castle– for starters, it seems to have been built not to keep invaders out, but to lock something.. In.
Rumors also have it that the reason for this imposing structure’s unique architecture is because it’s situated over a gateway to hell. The chapel sits atop the hole to keep the evil under wraps, but it leaks out every now and again.
Legends of leather winged creatures, ghostly monks, spectral beings, and other dark beasties have haunted the castle walls for centuries. But is it possible that these may just be a figment of our imaginations? Perhaps they’re merely our brains and bodies playing tricks on us, under the influence of something more scientific? Well let’s see if we can find out on today’s episode of Idiopathic..
