Spotlight on Transnational Research Collaboratory
In 2024-2025, FCRJ is supporting five transnational research projects. Our transnational research collaboratory fosters connections between academics and social justice movements around FCRJ’s interconnected fields of inquiry, with the goal of co-creating research methodologies and outcomes that cultivate feminist and racially just worlds.

In episode 11, Lydia Ayame Hiraide sits down with Dena Arya to discuss her involvement with one of these projects:‘Theatre of Climate Action: Amplifying Youth Voices for Climate Justice in Guadeloupe and South Africa’.
In their conversation, they explore youth agency and climate justice in the context of this research project which uses participatory theatre methods to explore and platform youth climate justice perspectives in South Africa and Guadeloupe.
