In 2024-2025, FCRJ is supporting five transnational research projects. Our transnational research collaboratory fosters connections between academics and social justice movements around FCRJ’s interconnected fields of inquiry, with the goal of co-creating research methodologies and outcomes that cultivate feminist and racially just worlds.

Ms. Majd Hammad is an esteemed human rights defender and researcher, recognized for over two decades of dedicated expertise in the fields of gender, feminism, and human rights studies. Her deep knowledge in project management, combined with a steadfast commitment to tackling complex issues in labor, development, and humanitarian sectors, has led to substantial contributions in shaping policies and practices. Hammad's work has been consistently driven by a mission to uplift the rights and welfare of refugees and migrant workers, advocating for their dignity and equality.
