"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom" - Psalm 90:12
The psalmist unlocked a key to living on the path of wisdom. That key is the key of Numbering your days. This involves being able to take a stock of our activities, where we have done well, where we have performed badly, where we can do better.
In other words, it's a call to self reflection, meditation on your days. Where there is no accountability, there is no judgement and where there is no sound judgement, there's no pathway to evolution and doing better.
May the Lord himself teach you how to be accountable first to yourself and then to him. May the Lord help you to rightly evaluate your life according to his own measure in Jesus name.
