On this episode of the CAPB Podcast we meet Clare Hearl, Army Veteran and Founder of The Crafty Black Dog.
Clare spent 10 years in the Army as a HR professional, finishing her career working in The UKSF Group. On leaving the military, Clare became unwell and suffered with mental health problems. After spending time with the military charity Combat Stress, she found a love for crafting and this supported her recovery. Rising from the ashes like a phoenix from the flames, Clare created a business from this new found skill. The Crafty Black Dog has just celebrated its 5th birthday and has grown into a sustainable and successful business.
