This week Ben and Sawyer cover our first of hopefully many Studio Ghibli masterpieces, 1997's "Princess Mononoke." Having firmly established himself and Studio Ghibli as powerhouses in the world of animated storytelling with such greats as "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," "My Neighbor Totoro," and "Castle In The Sky," Miyazaki delivered in '97 perhaps his most powerful piece yet, with this biting critique of society and the strained relationship between mankind and the world we inhabit. To think that he'd follow this one up with Spirited Away just a few years later... *heart eyes*
