Yes, “of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh.” (Ecc. 12:12). And yet, “The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings.” (Ecc. 12:11). All the books are ours to collect and learn from, but if we had to choose a few at the top to be like nails firmly fixed, which would they be?
