As an HBCU student, we always see the glamorization of the experience yet we never talk about what’s happening behind the scene. Even if things begin to be brought up, it gets shelved and can lead towards different situations and perspectives that don’t line up with what truly matters. Starting off the new year, let’s actually have a real conversation about what it means to really be an HBCU student.
