The Unveiling with Tygen Blank Tofel
What’s up, Beautiful Beasts? Welcome back to the Unveiling the Beast Podcast! In this episode, I got to sit down with one of my bestest friends, Tygen Blank Reeder Tofel (There’s actually a story behind the “Blank”), and we got into some pretty deep conversations about pretty deep subjects. We talked about the emotional distress of secondary infertility caused by PCOS, Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (big words), I opened up a little about my experience with miscarriage, and we talked about our experiences being in physically and mentally abusive relationships. All three of these topics tend to be on the taboo list, but I believe it is imperative to discuss such topics so that others that are experiencing similar hardships KNOW they are not alone. On a brighter note, we got into a hilarious story that took place in our early twenty shenanigan years that involves getting the police called us.
Just a warning, I had some issues with sound while recording, so the sound is a little wonky, BUT the content is too good not post. If you or someone you know is going through or has been through life events such as the ones discussed in this episode, have a listen. My hope is that you walk away with some nuggets of wisdom along with some tools that you can use in your own life. I hope something lands with you today.
