Description

For most of my life, I was told my body was a problem that needed fixing … by my grandmother, by doctors, by diet culture, and eventually by me. I internalized that shame early, using food to cope before I even knew what coping meant. I was seven when emotional eating started, ten when I was handed a prescription for a now-banned diet drug, and not long after that, I was fully enrolled in the toxic belief that smaller always meant better. The bullying, the body shame, the fake friends, the abusive relationship. I carried all of it in silence, behind a smile, while stuffing my pain deeper than any binge ever could. And when I finally escaped the man who almost broke me, I dove headfirst into “healthy” obsession: over-exercising, under-eating, and chasing a body I believed was the only way to be loved, successful, and safe.

But after nearly three decades of dieting, a rock-bottom moment as a new mom cracked something open in me. That crack led to a question over lunch that would change everything: “Have you heard of intuitive eating?” What started as curiosity became my lifeline. It was the first time I saw food as nourishment instead of punishment, and myself as worthy regardless of size. My healing adventure isn’t a straight line (spoiler alert: healing never is), but I now live with compassion instead of control. Today, I use my story (and my training as a CPT, nutritionist, and neuro-transformational coach) to help others break free from the same systems that caged me. Because food shouldn’t be a battlefield, movement shouldn’t be punishment, and you, my friend, are not broken. You’re a beast. And you deserve to be free.

As always, I hope something lands with you today. I hope something you hear tugs at your heart strings and/or I hope you laugh.

What if health wasn’t about rules or restriction? If you made it all the way through my story, thank you. That wasn’t easy to share, and I know it probably wasn’t easy to hear either. But if any part of it made your heart clench, if it felt a little too familiar, you’re not alone. I’ve lived through the shame, the silence, the punishment, and the pressure. And I’ve fought tooth and nail to find peace with food, movement, and the person staring back in the mirror.

You don’t have to fight alone. You don’t have to keep living by rules that were never meant to serve you. You can heal. You can rebuild. And I can walk with you.

If you’re ready to stop chasing health and start living it, gently, fiercely, and fully, let’s talk. No pressure, no judgment, just a real conversation with someone who gets it.
