You've heard it. I've heard it. Heck, we have all even said it! When being asked, " Why do you want to get fit and healthy?" The FIRST thing that comes to mind is, "I want to be slim, toned, like how my body looks (aka have others like how my body looks."
But guess what? That mentality of vanity, of external validation, is NOT what is going to get you out of bed on the hard days. It is on those days when motivation is fleeting that you will say, "Well whatever I don't give a sh*t what other people think of me anyway." Which is GREAT - but not if that was your motivation.
It is time that we set goals that benefit us as an individual OUTSIDE of vanity how we look that keep us motivated - that keeps us going when we don't have motivation!
We need to stand our ground, make life changes coming from a place of love, and see the magic un fold!
