Excommunic-April continues with an ancient evil once sealed away that has been unleashed! No, I'm not talking about the character who influenced Halloween costumes everywhere in 2016, the demon Valak, but instead the horror unleashed is the 2018 film, The Nun, directed by Corin Hardy.
We talk about the film's ability to skillfully dodge interesting subplots to provide more time for zombie nuns who are hard to see in unlit scenes. We almost lose our way as a podcast, but are saved by the literal blood of Jesus Christ.
