This week on fellavision we’re discussing DIDI, the new coming of age summertime movie directed by Sean Wang. After catching up on some movie news we jump into what we’ve seen from Sean Wang’s short films & what we thought of his directorial debut. JP gets another chance to spill the beans and my laptop dies. We discuss the film’s unique use of 2008-era internet tech to help tell a story and what our most memorable AIM names were. We then make a pretty neat discovery on how the movie’s very time-specific soundtrack came to be. Then we pick 4 for the fellas (new segment in beta testing) - coming of age movies. We close with some stories about what we were like growing up in the time when this movie was based and exercise some demons because that’s what this pod is for baby
