As podcast hosts we value great quality conversation, however, what does great conversation mean? The "what is your favourite" question seems to be a hallmark of conversation and relationship building. In fact I would use the question myself to strike points of interest and further a conversation but why do we use that question so profusely? Is there a secret meaning behind that question? Are we asking it hide our true intentions?
We discuss why this question is used and the numerous settings and situations it is used that subverts our understanding of this innocent question. The key question is is the your favourite question a good thing?
