Description

Let's turn to the right and take a look at the Coen Brothers' first screwball comedy, Raising Arizona (1987). The first of its kind to portray the seemingly simple lives of struggling men and immovable women, the Coen Brothers use their particular brand of humor to showcase the follies of everyday life and the absurd circumstances that form their heroes. We take a look at the 1980s politics that inspire Hi and Ed's kidnapping plot, an innovative way to start a family to say the least.
