This morning rant is about the other side of the prosperity teaching. That message needed to be preached, but our teachers need to begin teaching the other side which is " after you have suffered a little while". This scriptures tells us that this is a necessary part of our walk. 1 Peter 5:10 ~ And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Romans 12:12 ~ Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
John 16:33 ~ I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
1 Peter 4:12 ~ Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
Romans 8:18 ~ For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
1 Corinthians 10:13 ~ No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
James 1:2 ~ Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
James 1:12 ~ Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
