This morning rant is about a lost art of meditation and what a believer can and will do as as result of practicing meditation in the live.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.
Colossians 3:16
Let Christ’s word with all its wisdom and richness live in you. Use psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to teach and instruct yourselves about God’s kindness. Sing to God in your hearts.”
May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.
I will lift up my hands to Your commands, which I love, and will meditate on Your statutes. 49 Remember Your word to Your servant; You have given me hope through it.”
May the arrogant be put to shame for subverting me with a lie; I will meditate on Your precepts. 79 May those who fear you turn to me, those who understand your statutes. 80 May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame. 81 My soul faints with longing for your salvation, but I have put my hope in your word.
