This morning rant is about wisdom, one of the ingredient needed to make the right decisions in every situation that arises in our life.
Wisdom comes from God
Proverbs 2:6
For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Job 9:4
His wisdom is profound, his power is vast. Who has resisted him and come out unscathed?
Isaiah 33:6
He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure."
Daniel 2:20-21
Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning."
The Fear of the Lord
Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."
Psalm 111:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!"
Job 28:28
And he said to the human race, 'The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.'"
Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."

The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, and humility comes before honor."
Wisdom and Humility
Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
Proverbs 11:2
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom."
Proverbs 18:12
Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor."
James 3:13
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom."

Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord, and humility comes before honor."
The Importance of Seeking Wisdom
Proverbs 4:6-8
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will preserve you; love her, and she will guard you. 7Wisdom is supreme; so acquire wisdom. And whatever you may acquire, gain understanding. 8Prize her, and she will exalt you; if you embrace her, she will honor you
Proverbs 19:8
The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.”
Proverbs 19:20
Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise."
Know also that wisdom is like honey for you: If you find it, there is a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off."
