This morning rant is to remind you that you have counselors. And that seeking counsel will wise. Proverbs 19:20 Listen to advice and receive discipline, that you may become wise by the end of your life.
What does the Bible say about counselors.
Proverbs 11:14 A nation falls through a lack of guidance, but victory comes through the counsel of many.
Proverbs 15:22 Plans fail without advice, but with many counselors they are confirmed.
1- God our father is our counselor
Psalm 16:7-8 I will praise the LORD who counsels me— even at night my conscience instructs me. I keep the LORD in mind always. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.7. Psalm 73:24 You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.
Psalm 32:8 The LORD says, “I will instruct you. I will teach you the way that you should go. I will advise you as my eyes watch over you.
Psalm 73:24 With Your counsel You will guide me, And afterward receive me to glory.
Psalm 33:11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.
Proverbs 19:21 Many plans are in a man’s heart, But the counsel of the Lord will stand.
Psalm 16:7 I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.
Psalm 119:24 Your testimonies also are my delight; They are my counselors.
Isaiah 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 11:2 And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
4- The Holy Spirit our counselor.
John 16:13 When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into the full truth. He won’t speak on his own. He will speak what he hears and will tell you about things to come.
John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit–the Father will send Him in My name–will teach you all things and remind
