This morning rant is about wisdom, what is it and how exactly can we get it from God to apply it to every situation in our lives.

Proverbs 3:13

Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;

James 1:5-6

If you need wisdom-- if you want to know what God wants you to do-- ask Him, and He will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking.

But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."

Proverbs 8:11-12

For wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her. “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and I find knowledge and discretion.

James 3:17

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

Luke 21:15

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict.

Proverbs 3:13
