Description

This morning we look at the Holy Spirit in battle and as we allow him to lead our live we begin to change. The gifts of the Spirit begins to manifest in our lives and change us

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.

Acts 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost (Spirit) is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Luke 24:49, “But tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.”

1st John 4:4 declares, “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” When a believer is baptized in the Holy Spirit, that believer has a resource like no other to defeat the enemy.

The result of walking in the Spirit

Galatians 5:22-23.“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” 

Romans 8:6. “… to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” 

Romans 15:13.“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
