The bible tells us so much about our father and what he did on our behalf. It talks of his LOVE, dedication to our success while we're here on this earth, living in the kingdom of darkness, but citizens of the kingdom of God. I want to stop briefly in Psalm 18:30 to look at some of the benefits we have as we walk humbly before and with our father.
Psalm 18:30 30 This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him
A. His way s perfect
Matthew 5:48 Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
B. His word is true
Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times.
C. He is a shield for all those who take refuge in him
Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song, I shall thank Him.
