The very first episode of my new podcast and launch of the @theAlynettework. This episode "Pretty and Afraid" was inspired by Jidenna's track, of the same title, from his latest album "85 to Africa." @Jidenna performed "Pretty and Afraid" as the encore of his "85 to Africa Tour" which he opened in the city of Sacramento, October 2, 2019. This song resonates deeply with me because I am conscious of being both those things, pretty and afraid. Those that are pretty, you would believe to have all of the confidence in the world, however I find myself fearful of the unknown as I navigate this part of my journey. Afraid indeed, yet, I persevere.
