Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater is the first book of the Wolves of Mercy Falls Series is a book about a boy who is stuck as a wolf for the majority of the year and a girl who is obsessed with the wolves beyond the boundary of her backyard. It was created in the tidal wave of the Twilight obsession and built its own fanbase that has resulted in over 1.7 million copies of the series being sold to date.
