We have been considering this topic and so far we have learned that the only way we engage God or that God engages us as his children is through faith and that the first point of call in engaging God is to do so in the place of prayer and in doing so, our hearts are quickened to his word and through the hearing or quickening of his word in our hearts, faith is formed and it becomes the basis upon which we engage God. We also learned that when faith comes, it requires that we continually speak what has been quickened and that the more we speak, the more we believe and our belief rests upon four pillars which are: the nature of God, the will of God, the ways of God and the abilities of God.
This week, we will proceed in our teaching on the process of faith and how to fight the good fight of faith.
