The doctrine of prayer is not a system we bring out in the days of trouble, it is a system that helps define our possibilities and experience in the natural. It is the core and very essence of our existence. Our partnership with God however places responsibility on us and God and our own responsibility is to pray or ask and it is the responsibility of God to answer that through this dual exercise we determine what we see and what our life becomes on earth.
If prayer is this important, it is expedient that we learn how God answers prayers and the protocols for answers to prayers:
1. Desire and Faith- Mark 11:23-24
2. Consistency- Luke 18:4-7
3. Patience- James 1:2-4
4. Thanksgiving- Philippians 4:6
