The Encouragement Engineering podcast offers listeners the ability to combat the negativity that inundates our daily lives with a positive perspective and positive actions. Our guest today is Geralyn Gendreau.
Geralyn is a licensed psychotherapist since 1995 and a playful, soul-provoking life coach who loves to tackle the impossible. Her work is grounded in the insights of her mentor, Jean Liedloff, author of the childrearing classic, The Continuum Concept. As Liedloff’s authorized biographer and self-appointed torch-bearer, she sheds light on the possibility of radical shift in our evolutionary trajectory.
Through story and active engagement with the imaginal realm, she encourages people to re-conceive what it means to be human and reconfigure their sense of self around the outrageous notion that we are designed to be happy. Her greatest passion is advancing the naturally good-humored child rearing approach of our tribal ancestors, and assisting people who did not have a fully enriched infancy and childhood understand the impact of “missing experiences,'' and gain the insight, self-knowledge, and courage to live a fully actualized life.
