In this episode, we are joined by Ryan Gibbons, South African professional cyclist and school friend to Fray and Mike. Ryan was meant to cycle the Tour de France this year, but due to this darn virus, it looks unlikely. Ryan educates us about cycling professionally and gives some insight as to how insanely difficult it is having such a career. We also touch on doping in the sport and life beyond cycling.
Ryan stays with us as we move on to discuss police brutality and the deaths of George Floyd and Collins Khosa. We conclude the episode by analysing lockdown and the (often irrational) regulations, and discuss whether we will ever be allowed to smoke cigarettes again.
A big thanks to Ryan for pulling through.
