On Day 43, we come to the end of self-glory. Jesus told Peter that when he was young, he clothed himself and went wherever he pleased—but when he grew old, another would gird him and lead him where he would not choose to go. True maturity ends self-direction and embraces divine direction. The road may lead through death, surrender, or the unknown, but it is the path that glorifies God. As it was for Jesus, so it is for every son—our love for the Father is proven in our willingness to follow Him wherever He leads.
