In today's episode Dr Miles and Josh delve a bit deeper into the obstacles that men face when tackling their own mental and physical health and today is the big topic of hormones and aging.

Testosterone in the average male does peak in their 20s, but that doesn't mean that you have to peak. It's ok if you have a renaissance of vitality and energy in your 40s and 50s and it doesn't take injections of exogenous hormones!

We address the common experiences of men trying to diet and exercise the way they did in their 20s, why this falls short, and how we can continue to improve our physical fitness despite our advancing age. Much of this advice can apply to women too, although a more nuanced discussion about men's and women's hormones would be needed in future.

How hormones get blamed, and what is behind the fat, tired, and out-of-shape men in their midlife crises, is the discussion for today.
