In this episode of the AmandaFest podcast, host Amanda brings on one of her oldest friends, Lyle Oberman, to discuss how dance has been a transformative force in her life. Lyle, a dancer, choreographer, and nonprofit director, shares her story of moving 15 times before college, creating spaces for community through movement, and the evolution of her nonprofit, Novel Dance Company.
The conversation delves into the importance of vulnerability and leadership, sustaining a slow burn for long-term success, and showing up authentically to inspire others. Additionally, Amanda and Lyle touch on the emotional and spiritual impact of important life experiences, the significance of creating spaces for others to shine, and the value of pushing past comfort zones.
