Frank shares his first experience directing on Batman and why certain stories went to certain animation studios. Remembering the early days of the show and looking at a lot of anime and film noir for inspiration.
He also recalls the storyboarding he did on Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, as well as sharing his favourite episodes that he directed. Discussing the advantages of animating Bruce Timm’s art, as well as how he ended up working on Gargoyles, why he chose not to work on Spider-Man, and a whole lot more!
