Welcome to Episode 6 of Chop Chop. I am delighted to be joined by Norma Kelly, pastry chef and owner of Praline, café, pastry and chocolate shop located in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
Norma left school in 2002 to begin her training as a pastry chef. Norma studied and worked as a pastry chef in Dublin and beyond. She has a degree in Culinary Arts with Pastry major, a Masters in Food Product Development and Culinary Innovation and a diploma in Third level Education from DIT. Norma returned to DIT to lecture in pastry for almost ten years until she returned home to follow her dream and open Praline in 2017.
In Praline, everything is made by hand in our little kitchen using fresh ingredients, Irish and local where possible.
