Description

Motherhood is beautiful, but it’s also exhausting, overwhelming, and sometimes just plain hard. And yet, so many of us feel like we have to keep it all together, all the time. But what if I told you that having a mini meltdown every now and then is actually healthy?

In this episode, I’m opening up about why we need to stop apologizing for our emotions and start normalizing those moments when we just need to cry it out. Because being a mom is tough, and pretending like we have it all together 24/7 isn’t doing us (or our kids) any favors.

EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS

✔ The reality of postpartum depression and why your body takes years to regulate after having a baby

✔ Why holding it all in is not the answer (and how to release it in a healthy way)

✔ How motherhood has become so isolated, and why we need to lean on each other more

✔ The importance of finding your mom group, people who will show up, do your laundry, or just let you vent without judgment

✔ Giving yourself grace, stopping the comparison game, and recognizing that you are not alone

Motherhood was never meant to be done alone. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, just know that you are so normal, and you are so loved.

Take a deep breath, mama. You’re doing better than you think.
