I remember hearing the story of a blind musician, by the name of, Ray Charles. It was said that when he first started performing, people would pay him with dollar bills and tell him they were a higher amount than they were. For example, they would give him a $1 bill and tell him it was a $20 bill. Concert managers took advantage of his inability to see. Most people desire to be dealt with honestly, however, there are always those who try to get rich by taking advantage of others. Our passage today, in Proverbs chapter 11, talks about the differences between the honest and the dishonest as well as their final outcomes.
