🎙️ Relationships, Family, & God’s Timing

2024 I had a couple of real talks from conversations at work, with family, and with friends that had me reflecting on relationships, love, and God’s timing.
đź’¬ Relationships & Compromise
At work the guys were talking, and what I took away was this: every relationship is different. Comparing yours to someone else’s will break it. Compromise is part of it, but it has to be rooted in shared morals, priorities, and God’s guidance not just desire.
💖 Waiting on God’s Timing
I realized I can’t rush what God is building. I want love fast, but God is working on me and on the person He has for me. If we meet too early, broken and unready, it won’t work. Trusting His timing brings peace even if I’m impatient.
👩‍👧 Family & Influence
A family convo hit me too: how neglect in childhood can make us over-give in adulthood, sometimes scaring people away. Family impacts everythingggg too much or too little love still leaves marks. And honestly, part of my journey is learning to break cycles. People joke I should be more like my mom—but truth is, I’m working hard to grow different. Taking her resilience, but choosing a more nurturing, Christ-led path.
🌟 Reflection
Relationships—romantic or family—are deeply shaped by God, timing, and healing. The lesson? Don’t rush. Don’t compare. And don’t let broken patterns decide your future. God is writing something better.

Love God’s way takes patience. Whether it’s waiting for a partner or breaking family cycles, trust His timing and His design.
