Parenting

We use Bible characters such as Hannah with Samuel and Saul with Jonathan in the Book of 1 Sam and Mordecai in the Book of Esther 

Parenting Skills 101

Hannah to Samuel:

Hannah

• Wasn't greedy with her gift
• Realizes the value and promise of her child
• Put in the work and took care of the necessities of her prayer

Saul to Johnathan:

Saul

• Was impatient and unstable with his emotions toward his son
• Allowed his situation to overshadow his parenting
• Put his evil agenda before his child

Mordecai to Esther:

Mordecai

• Made sure his stationary and family were secure (good balance)
• Spoke to Esther with love and care when time to discipline
