There are a lot of viewpoints on death and how a Christian should handle it, but as Jesus said, “Let the dead bury the dead” (Luke 9:60). I agree.
For me, it’s mistakenly comes off as I don’t care. When death occurs, I don’t feel upset if since i've made time and bonded with the person prior I was able to speak with them laugh with them. Eat with them visit them. I made effort to interact and show love❤️.
So when the time comes, I don’t feel like I lost anything. If I haven’t done that, i can understand the devastating feeling of losing someone. all that to say the need to appreciate people is now. We all have an limited time pm this earth. the enemy is wicked, the enemy is real, and people often don’t care 😔. but as believers, we are supposed to show love genuine care before the death not after
