You remember — back when aliens showed up, taught us something profound, and suddenly humanity found peace? No strife, no genocides, no political upheaval. Just love, understanding, and interstellar wisdom.
So… can someone remind me where I parked my flying car?
Oooooh — right. It was a blockbuster movie. That makes way more sense.
Still, Arrival is an absolute beauty. If you haven’t seen it yet, I strongly recommend watching it before listening to our episode. Denis Villeneuve pulls every trick out of his bag here — a soaring score, excellent effects, gorgeous cinematography, and (of course) a twist sitting right at the core of it all.
