Randy and Kris are joined by playwright (and Randy’s cousin) Neil Martin to discuss Isaac Asimov’s short story, “The Feeling of Power.” They each take a brief tour through their history with Asimov and sci-fi literature in general before digging into their complicated relationships with technology; Kris even hits the others with a quiz in basic arithmetic to see if they can match wits with Myron Aub.
Finally, the crew dives deep into the classic Asimov short story. Over the course of the conversation, they explore the style, characterization, themes, and underlying humanity that make this story so important to Randy. Spoiler alert: the others learn to love the story as well.
