Today we’ll be reading from the 1999 book Going Home, Jesus and Buddha as Brothers, written by Zen Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh, published by Riverhead Books.
The concept that we are already home is a comfort to me. To finally realize that wherever we are, we have the innate ability to seek our own truth, to be at home with ourselves, our God, our teachers, be they Jesus or Buddha, and to follow our own unique path toward personal spiritual growth and an enlightened awareness of coming home.
We will also include preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings which will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence.
