Description

Today we’ll be reading from the 1999 book entitled Chanting, Discovering Spirit in Sound, written by Robert Gass. Sound is something that has obviously been an important part of spiritual traditions from the beginning of time. Whether it’s Christians praying the rosary, Buddhists using mantras such as om mani padme hum, or Hindus chanting om namo bagavate vasudevya to Lord Vishnu. They all have been valuable tools for spiritual attunement. One sometimes overlooked piece of the puzzle though is that it’s not only the sound but the ensuing silence that brings us even closer to Source.

Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings.
