You are either in therapy or you're not. Some might argue that they do not need extra mental health support, but I would say, "Yes you do."
The holidays are officially upon us, meaning we will all be subject to emotions. Sometimes emotions are welcome this time of year because they are joyful. But many of us will experience stress, anxiety, depression, or grief - and those emotions aren't as welcome.
What do you do when you're in a full panic, or can't dig yourself out of a hole, or feel like your grief is suffocating you? I hope you can call your therapist.
Whether you wish your therapist was your best friend, or you're still in search of the perfect clinician, or you've convinced yourself that your emotions are on lock and have it all figured out without the help of a mental health professional, this episode will hopefully open your mind to the wonderful (and weird) world of talk therapy.
