David Johnson brings us to the Table today, the start of the third week of Lent. In the midst of this season, which can be challenging with its “fasting from” and “letting go,” the Table and the steadfast faithfulness of Jesus are where we come. “Do not let your hearts be troubled,” He told His disciples, even though He knew the cross lay before Him. In these weeks of Lent, may God meet all of us with the truth and grace we need to stay with Jesus and open ourselves to His Spirit’s work in us.
