There’s not a lot of space for entrepreneurs to learn the dos and don’ts of side hustle or starting a business and how to have a balance and not make everything about your business. You don’t want the very thing you love to start to suck the life out of you, so in this episode we discuss how you can start to establish boundaries to create a work life balance.
There’s this false idea out there that the hustle is going to help you be successful. But what we have found is that time blocking and having calendar integrity with yourself helps set up boundaries that allow you to have space for time with family, friends and things you love to do and have designated time for your business.
This practice takes looking at the full picture of your life and what you truly want that to be. We are so dedicated to time when it comes to making a doctor’s appointment or picking up our kids from school, but when it comes time to carve out time for ourselves or our businesses, we use the excuse “I ran out of time”.
