This episode Mommy Issues 2 with Candi starts with props to Flo for holding down the fort while Candi was down. Candi is back and we thank all for the positive vibes. Candi starts out about her mom leavening her as a baby in the hands of a couple they lived with as her mom decided to go cross country to look for work. While away, Candi gets a rash and the couple panic takes her to hospital where there’s no blood relative. The couple call her maternal grandmother and she with son drive in bad weather, on his birthday through 2 states to get her. Candi stays in their home. Her mom never fights the situation until the adoption when she was 10. Candi testified on stand whom she wanted to live with as her mom stared at her. How subtle gestures from Grandma why she wouldn’t want to live with her mom anyway. How her mom moved on with another family and stayed in the basement of her mom’s (Candi’s grandmother’s) home on her new marriage/honeymoon. Candi’s Mom came up when Candi was 16,17 &18 years old each summer knowing this was ripe picking time and made friends with Candi’s friends. Doing things a mother should not do. We had a situation after mom Grandma’s funeral, literally. How mom jumped out of Candi’s car refusing to sign a paper that benefited Candi’s future and didn’t harm her mom,while her brother was in back of car. Period when they didn’t speak. After Candi’s (non biological) grandfather died it brought them back together. Phone calls that ended with them not speaking for a few days. . When Candi’s mom got diagnosed with cancer and you just try to put it all behind you. Hopefully some will get peace and know they aren’t alone if they have similar situations .
