The humble icosahedron
History
The object believed to be the world’s oldest d20 (found to date) is from Polemic Egypt (304-30 BCE). Housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art,

The Egyptian d20 is about an inch tall and has Greek letters carved in to it (not surprising, considering the time period in which it was crafted). No one is certain what it was used for, though some have posited that the die might have been used in Senet, one of the world’s oldest known board games.
Another Egyptian die has full Greek words inscribed rather than individual letters,
A third d20, however, dating to the first century CE, carries Demotic (cursive representations of hieroglyphics) script, each side bearing the name of a different god.
Roman d20s were found by archeologists before those originating in Egypt, at least as far as we know. Because the markings on them were neither Roman nor Arabic numerals, many assumed that the dice were used for gaming – specifically games of chance.

Exploding dice is a mechanic that appears in various tabletop games. It works like this: a dice is rolled, if it lands on its maximum values, it “explodes” — the dice is then rolled again, adding the new value to the max value of the dice. If dice again lands on its maximum, the dice explodes a second time.
Devil's Dice' is naturally formed in a rough cube shape and is deep brown to black in color. Limonite after Pyrite is formed when pyrite begins to decompose through chemical weathering and the iron present in the mineral starts to rust. Limonite is any impure hydrated iron oxide. .
