Hey guys, it’s Joyce and Blake — welcome back to Savagely Scaled!
In this episode, we’re diving into the World Fitness Project (WFP). Like many of you, we’ve seen their Instagram posts and the huge names being signed to compete. But honestly, Blake was a little confused about the setup (thank goodness for Joyce to break it all down, haha).
Here’s the quick breakdown:
Stages: Challenger Qualifier ➡️ Tour Event 1 ➡️ Challenger Qualifier 2 ➡️ Tour Event 2 ➡️ World Fitness Trial ➡️ World Fitness Finals.
Divisions: Pros, Challengers, Masters, Teens, Scaled, Intermediate, and Elite.
Mission: They claim to put athletes first at every level — but will they really deliver? 👀 We’re excited (and skeptical) to see how it all unfolds.
This model feels similar to CrossFit’s season but different enough, especially with how the "Pros" are treated. Is it the breath of fresh air competitive fitness needs? Time will tell.
