Duck camp is a time for comradery and competition. It is funny that these two ideas can run hand in hand as they are vastly different. In the swamps of South Alabama, we have come together for several years to celebrate in the opportunity to hunt ducks!!! And not just any duck, you see... We primarily hunt the lightning fast, acrobatic, wary wood duck! These feather covered little animals have become our favorite quarry, but not for the reasons you might expect.
Join us in the duck blind again this week as we re-live a few of our adventures. You are going to learn what NOT to do in the woods, and you might even cringe a bit when the icy water dumps down our waders. Pole up your pirogue and lets hit the water!!!
